The Bundesliga has partnered with irreplaceable coin (NFT) platform ToppsNFT.com to launch an exclusive line of NFT trading cards.
This NFT series is the first of its kind for the German football league and will showcase top players, rising stars and highlights of the 2020-2021 season.
ToppsNFT.com is owned by the traditional trading card company Topps and is built on the Avalanche blockchain.
“Our vision is to create a fun, easy-to-use collecting experience on the blockchain that appeals to all fans, whether they have experience with NFT or not,” Tobin Lent, vice president and general manager of Topps Digital Sports and Entertainment, said in a statement.
The NFT collection will go live on Aug. 10 at 1 p.m. ET and will be available for purchase via credit card.
