All seven sea turtle species are considered threatened or endangered. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish. The ocean accounts for 97% of the world’s water, and the environment desperately needs our help. What can you do to help save this precious ecosystem? Join the NFT revolution, of course.
There’s a reason why the upcoming NFT project, Tubular Turtles, is a fun and quirky series of NFTs. The team behind the project wants to create an active and passionate community around the concept of conservation, one that is ready to take hands-on action to protect the environment and our precious oceans.
The roadmap features exciting opportunities where both nature and the community win. As each issue of NFTs is sold, new projects will be unlocked. This includes helping with ocean conservation projects and sponsorship programs, beach cleanups, earning incredible rewards in ETH or in-kind merchandise, or becoming a paid brand ambassador. Brand Ambassadors will have the privilege of attending special charity-related events across the U.S. and receive travel and lodging expenses.
One of the biggest events planned is the MEGA Treasure Hunt, which will be held in the Hawaiian Islands. A number of randomly selected owners will be flown to Hawaii to travel around the stunning islands, solving puzzles and clues that will ultimately lead to a grand prize. Participants will have the chance to win over $150,000 in cash and prizes (second place will win a brand new Tesla Model 3!).
The pre-sale will take place on October 31, when 2,000 NFTs will be released at a price of 0.05 ETH each. After the pre-sale ends, another 2,000 NFTs will be released in Phase 1, followed by 5,950 Tubular Turtle NFTs in Phase 2.Each turtle will have its own, special features generated by hand-drawn attributes.
