  • Animoca Brands turns Formula E cars into valuable NFTs, soon to be auctioned

    Called “Formula E: High Voltage”, the collection includes 24 NFTs that will be auctioned on Feature, an NFT platform built by Binance X on the Binance Smartchain.

    The auction will start on August 26 and run until September 2. Payments will be made in Binance Coin (BNB) and BUSD, Binance’s stable coin pegged to the US dollar.

    The Animoca brand will allow the purchase of NFT and create an actual game between users who will win non-abundant tokens.

    Each user will become team manager and take care of the good performance of the car during the race. Thus, Formula E High Voltage will join the REVV Motosport metaverse, where both the F1 Delta Machine and MotoGP Ignition games already exist.

    In total, there are 24 cars up for auction, two for each Formula Electric team.

    They are classified as “Legendary”, the most valuable class, compared to the others, which are Epic, Rare and Common. This makes the NFTs an extraordinary value. The fact that this is only the first edition doesn’t preclude the others.

    For now, the following fleets will be present with two models.

    Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler. bmw i Andretti Motorsport. dragon / Penske Autosport,DS TECHEETAH,Envision Virgin Racing,Jaguar Racing. Mahindra Racing. NIO 333 Formula E Team. Nissan e.Dams Racing, ROKiT Venturi. TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team.

    These NFT sized cars will be cast and auctioned on the Binance smart chain.

    This synergy between the Formula Electric, Binance and Animoca brands strengthens the connection established between the world of sports and the cryptocurrency/blockchain.

    This partnership is not too casual either. Indeed, Formula E recreates the most famous Formula 1 car, but in an electric version and therefore environmentally sustainable, while Binance aims to create a blockchain, the Binance Smartchain, which stands out for its reduced environmental impact, and this eco-sustainability feature unites them.

    Together with the Animoca brand, they will bring Formula E to the world of NFT and find a new way to engage fans.
