• APENFT partners with Tron-based Cool Cats

  • The APENFT Foundation has stepped up its efforts to support promising and emerging unforgeable token projects on the Tron network. The company announced a new strategic partnership with Tron Cool Cats – a spin-off of an ethereum-based collection.

This new partnership will focus on providing Tron Cool Cats with ongoing marketing and product development support. After recently creating a $100 million fund dedicated to investing in high-quality NFT projects, APENFT has been ramping up its efforts to discover this art collection in the fast-growing Tron NFT landscape ecosystem.

“This strategic partnership with APENFT means a lot to our team and the entire Cool Cat community. Not only will this deal help our kittens grow faster and stronger, but it is also a statement of our commitment to providing quality artwork and outstanding secondary market support,” the company wrote in an email.

The APENFT Foundation is a business project dedicated to bringing emerging and first-tier art to the blockchain in the form of unforgeable tokens. Despite its short existence, the company has already been instrumental in supporting some of the Tron Network’s most popular and fastest selling NFT series, such as Tpunks and Tron Meebits.APENFT also has digital artworks by the world’s top cryptocurrency artists, Beeple and Pak, valued at over $30 million.

Tron Cool Cat Mint. The Ongoing Meowing of Tron

Like most world famous NFT collectibles, Tron Cool Cats consist of a series of randomly generated artwork. Each of these kittens has a unique combination of visual attributes, such as eye color, fur color, hair style, clothing, and more. These truly unique (and adorable) kittens rely on the support of Palmar Labs.

Unlike the very first series launched by Etheria, the Troncats are cast using the new TRC-721 standard. As the NFT market continues to expand its frontiers, artists and developers are exploring options to reduce the cost of minting. With its new NFTs standard, the Tron network offers a viable alternative to Ether’s high costs.

Following the steps of previous projects on this network, Tron Cool Cats are offering a fixed mint price of 1,500 TRX or roughly $135. If these kittens follow the luck of their Ether predecessors, holders could see up to 150x increase in value. As of now, the Ether Cool Cats have a floor price of 6.6 ETH or about $19,200.

The minting of Tron Cool Cats can be done from web-based browsers and mobile devices using TronLink – the preferred wallet for Tron ecosystem participants. The Klever wallet is also supported, according to project representatives.

In addition to meowing, Tron Cool Cats have a lot more to share with their owners. The project has set up a 10% TRX pool for people who hold multiple kittens. In other words, cat lovers who hold more than 30 kittens are entitled to a share of the TRX raised.

As a next step, Trunk Cat is preparing to release its own marketplace where cat lovers will be able to buy, sell and bid with absolute market transparency. But in the meantime, there is still time for NFT collectors to get hold of these tiny but potentially very valuable creatures.
