• BAYCTron is the second NFT program to launch its own marketplace; enters the top three for collectibles

  • The Bored Ape Yacht Club Tron continues to rock the NFT market after launching itself.

For a project that’s been on the market for less than two weeks, Bored Ape Yacht Club Tron is attracting quite a bit of attention in the NFT space. The collection of 10,000 unique bored apes backed by Palmar Labs launched its own marketplace today, second only to the already widely popular Tpunks.

According to the project’s roadmap, the marketplace is designed as an easy-to-use tool developed for collectible miners to access a “potentially lucrative” secondary market.Tpunks is an homage to the ethereum-based CryptoPunks, and even caught the attention of Tron founder Justin Sun, who for $10.5 million put a Joker Tpunk in his pocket.

The marketplace has a variety of filters that allow enthusiasts to sort through collections and quickly find pieces they’re interested in. In addition to filters for backgrounds, clothing, and mouth patterns, Bored Ape enthusiasts can browse eye-catching selections by entering the exact ID number. This is a simple yet powerful tool, as many NFT collectors tend to compare serial numbers of individual items to find super rare artworks.

And speaking of rarity, this collection has some pretty outstanding art. To celebrate their launch on Tron, the project has added 15 exclusive apes featuring unique elements from the web as well as Justin Sun. and that’s not all: the BAYCTron series is about to be repopulated with a new batch of mutant apes. Yet another great twist in the fast-growing relationship between the digital Tron primates and their collectors.

The Annoying Apes Yacht Club Tron line is the second fastest selling line on Tron, with Tronmeebits holding the second spot. However, the project has yet to be successfully marketed, a feature that many NFT enthusiasts are asking for these days.

Just like the mint, BAYCTron fans can access the marketplace on the go using TronLink or Klever wallets. As of now, BAYCTron’s collection ranks third among the most popular collectibles in the Tron network.

“Our program is all about quality and reliability. We have produced thousands of high quality BAYCs for Tron and intend to support the community all the way through to secondary market operations. We believe Tron provides a unique environment for the development of NFTs and that’s why we’re here.” Caroline Matusso, CMO of BAYCTron, said.

One notable aspect of this project is their focus on community development. Since launching their mint on September 5, BAYCTron has managed to gain nearly 9,000 followers on Twitter and hundreds more on Telegram.

“Unlike other ‘garage projects’, we take our commitment very seriously. We’re working hard to answer every question, produce clear NFT instructions for our community, and most importantly – show up when they need us. At the end of the day, our community is everything – and they deserve the best. We are grateful for the warm welcome we received from the Tron community. It was overwhelming,” added Matusow.

BAYCT is the TRC721 token, the new standard for unforgeable tokens on the Tron blockchain.
