• Context App Makes NFT Transactions Feel Like Instagram

  • Have you ever wondered which NFT Twitter influencers, TikTok traders and DAO members are actually trading? A new Web 3.0 application called Context makes tracking this data much easier.

Launched in beta on Friday, Context feels like an unforgeable token for Instagram or Pinterest. It lets you search for NFT series, artists, and DAOs like Friends with Benefits.

“Our vision is to create a community-powered contextual layer for Web3,” wrote Context co-founder Adam Ludwin.

Unlike other NFT wallet draggers like Nansen, Context is free. Once you’ve connected to the MetaMask wallet and chosen a username, you can search the platform’s database, follow your favorite artists, and share and bid on collections.

Context’s stream of NFTs is also very nice – especially once you’ve found a tasteful collector. The app indexes ethereum NFTs and includes market data such as reserve and bid prices from marketplaces like OpenSea, Rarible, and Larva Labs’ CryptoPunks.

Context was created by former Stripe software engineer Luke Miles and Chain and Pogo Financial co-founder Adam Ludwin, who was president of a short-form video app called Byte, which was acquired by Discord earlier this year.
