The NFT wave is steadily catching on in India. After a slew of 1/1 celebrity drops and NFT collectibles, India now gets its first 10K NFT project—CryptoSauga Star Club (CSS). Basically, it is the first NFT project in India to drop a collection of 10,000 NFTs, claims WazirX NFT marketplace. NFT collector Kunal Kamble, a.k.a, CryptoSauga, is behind the CryptoSauga Star Club NFT collection.
“The NFT community is about growing together and Cryptosauga aka Kunal Kamble embodies this,” said Sandesh Suvarna, VP of WazirX NFT Marketplace. “This latest offering via CSS Club will be India’s 1st 10K project and the first community-led project that will reap rewards in multitude with the amazing roadmap full of utilities that the CSS Club team has planned.”
He further added, “This project marks the introduction of new function on WazirX NFT Marketplace: We now support external smart contracts for creators who wish to drop similar projects in future as well.”
All about CryptoSauga Star Club
“The CryptoSauga Stars Club is the journey of a cinephile in the metaverse,” the project notes on its website.
Basically, the Binance Smart Chain-based collection takes inspiration from Bollywood. The CryptoSauga Stars Club features 10,000 NFTs programmatically generated from over 150 traits. Besides, the NFTs come in four different rarities: House, Box, Balcony, and Stall. While House is the rarest with only 500 NFTs, Stall is the most common with 5500 NFTs in all. In addition, based on the Indian film star on their NFT, the holders will get additional benefits.
That’s not all. CSS Club NFT holders will enjoy a range of benefits, both virtual and real-world. For one, they will get special access to select nightclubs and cafes across India as well as CSS club private events. Another notable perk is that holders can claim free voxel characters (worth $100) for use in the metaverse. They also get a chance to win movie tickets every week and earn CCS Club’s utility token, $MAAL coin.
“CSS CLUB Star NFT project is a real-life example that will transform how people look at NFTs,” Kamble said. “There is an excellent pool of artists with unique skill sets and my aim is to support such new artists and at the same time collect some rare art from artists around the world.”
What about the roadmap?
CryptoSauga Star Club has also set up a solid roadmap. One of the most notable aspects of the project’s roadmap is its planned charity initiative. After 75% of NFTs are sold, the team will donate $10,000 for conservation activities through the World of Waves NGO. Star NFT airdrops, CryptoSauga branded merchandise, and a community fund are also in the future plans.
In addition, the team plans to buy lands in The Sandbox to take the Star NFTs to the metaverse. They also have plans to expand into other Indian film industries like Tollywood, Kollywood, and Mollywood.
