RCRDSHP, a digital collectibles platform for electronic music, has announced the completion of a first round of investment led by Dapper Labs and NFT collectors Metakovan and Twobadour. A representative told us that the funding was over $5 million.

The marketplace will run on Dapper Labs’ Flow blockchain, known for hosting the popular NBA Top Shot series of digital collectibles.In June, Dapper Labs CEO Roham Gharegozlou was one of several people who invested a $4 million seed round in NFT Genius, an NFT marketplace, to bring the music-themed marketplace on to the Flow blockchain.

The company said in a press release that RCRDSHP plans to release a collectibles package that will “encapsulate a unique aspect of the artist, label or festival” and prioritize affordability.

The latest package released by RCRDSHP features a combination of artist portraits and digital artwork.
