• DraftKings Launches NFT Marketplace, Debuts Tom Brady’s Products

  • Daily fantasy and sportsbook DraftKings have launched its new marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and will host its first sale later this week.

    Autograph, the NFT platform launched by football player Tom Brady, will provide content for the DraftKings Marketplace’s first preseason access series. According to a press release, the series will also include access passes for notable athletes such as Wayne Fretzky, Tony Hawk, Naomi Osaka and Derek Jeter.

    The sports-related NFT series will be available on Autograph.io as well as the DraftKings Marketplace. Fans and collectors with DraftKings accounts can access the Marketplace via desktop or mobile. A limited number of NFTs will be issued for each featured athlete. buyers can attend the first drop featuring Tom Brady on Aug. 11.

    “The overall NFT marketplace has soared to more than $2.5 billion in sales in the first half of 2021, so whether someone is savvy or barely familiar with digital collectibles, we envision the DraftKings marketplace becoming the platform of choice for everyone in this trend,” said DraftKings president and co-founder Matt Kalish in a statement.
