Ethernity Chain, a blockchain-based platform that allows users to take advantage of non-forgeable tokens (NFTs), has announced a new WNBA Hall of Fame limited edition NFT series.
The team announced the news in a press release, saying WNBA Hall of Fame NFT series inductees Swin Cash and Tamika Catchings have partnered with round21.
What’s more, as Ethernity is committed to driving growth and adoption in the NFT space, the platform highlighted that it is offering exclusive community placement for the “Catch & Cash” WNBA Legends series.
In addition, users can claim available NFTs on a first-come, first-served basis using Ether – the second largest cryptocurrency by market cap.Furthermore, in order to process transactions, users will have to pay gas fees.
According to the team, 21 of the NFT series come with a value of $999, and 250 versions are worth $399 each. Apart from this, all interested parties can bid on the exclusive 1 piece for sale. Apart from that, users can claim at least 10 ERNs if they have them in their cryptocurrency wallets or Stones Farming contracts.
Note that round21 invited artist Blacksneakers to create a series of 5 NFTs that bring their journey to life while also celebrating the work they do on and off the field. round21 did this to honor their legacy and to continue their legacy through future generations.
In short, the team notes that each detail of the NFT artwork has a backstory inspired by hours of conversation with the athletes. On top of that, it has details of their Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Aug. 21, 2021.
Not to mention, Cash and Catchers emphasized that all net profits realized by both athletes from the auction of the digital collection will go directly to their respective charities, Cash for Kids and Catch a Star Foundation.
