Ripple Awards $100,000 Grant to Feeturre to Develop Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) XRPL Integration.
Feeturre, an entertainment marketplace platform, said it has been awarded a $100,000 grant by popular blockchain company Ripple via the RippleX’s XRPL Grants program.
According to the announcement today, the latest funding will not only accelerate Feeturre’s drive into the Web 3.0 ecosystem, it will also contribute immensely to the XRP Ledger space.
With the new funding, Feeturre will provide support for blockchain-based assets, including cryptocurrency payments, smart contracts, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on XRPL.
Casey Swift, CEO of Feeturre, said:
“The team is excited about our new journey on the XRP Ledger. Our vision is to create a ripple effect that will impact the entire entertainment industry.”
Per the announcement, using the XRP Ledger will allow Feeturre to enjoy low transaction fees and faster settlements, which will be instrumental in giving the company a massive edge over its competitors.
“The integration of XRPL-based NFTs is a key step in accelerating the adoption of the Internet of Value,” Elliot Lee, a senior representative of RippleX said.
Launched in 2019, Feeturre is a music and entertainment marketplace platform that connects artists, producers, and influencers for commerce and collaboration purposes.
Since its inception, it has already attracted major talents like John Monopoly, Kanye West’s co-manager, among others.
