Gala Labs, a sister company to Gala Games, will launch the next development of 3D animated NFTs called Vox on August 10. These collectibles will also have utility features – meaning they will be integrated through the Gala Games metaspace and be able to earn their owners VoxCoin through participation.
Once purchased, owners will receive FBX files, which will allow them to bring their Vox to life through animation, augmented reality apps, or through 3D printing.
Each of the 8,888 premiere series Vox are inspired by the characters from Gala Games’ Town Star and will have a unique set of characteristics; specific to their character, appearance and job. To provide an equal buying environment and create an element of surprise, each Vox purchase will be verifiably random, meaning buyers won’t find out which character they’re getting, or the rarity of their Vox, until it’s released on the Rarity Tool. Buyers will need a Web3 wallet, such as MetaMask, funded by Ether (ETH). Each Vox will be sold for 0.0888 ETH, plus gas fees.
James Olden, chief strategy officer at Gala Labs, said the Gala Labs team has been looking for a way to incorporate the collectibles collection into the Gala Games ecosystem to reward the community.
“What’s really exciting about Vox is that we’re able to offer FBX files as part of the NFT, which allows owners to program and interact with their Vox. Really, the opportunities are endless,” Olden said.
