infinity8 was awarded the Best NFT Marketplace at Cryptocurrency Expo 2021 Dubai just months after launching at the AmfAR Gala in July. This year’s hosted gala was reportedly more intimate than previous years, with exclusive visitors reduced from 900 to 400 due to the implementation of COVID-19 regulations.
Infinity8 Receives Best NFT Marketplace 2021 Award from Dubai Crypto Expo As several purchasers left to return to their suites, the auction began as a spectacular conclusion to the event.Sacha Jafri, along with billionaire philanthropist and founder of infinity8.io, Javed Fiyaz, in no more than 45 seconds, sold Sacha for a total of 750,000 euros in total to sell over 1,500 public copies of Sacha’s first NFT, Angel’s Wings.
On top of that, it should be noted that the NFT sale, executed in partnership with infinity8.io, did very well against Andy Warhol’s Mickey Mouse piece (which also brought in 375,000 euros), Chopard’s 18K white gold diamond and Michael Kagan’s Astronaut (which also managed to sell for 400,000 euros).
Infinity8.io has registered as the first philanthropic NFT marketplace, filling the gap between fine and digital art by listing and creating NFTs with some of the greatest artists of all time, as well as doing outreach to emerging talent.
Another big announcement for Cryptocurrency Expo UAE 2021
