The latest luxury brand to join the NFT space is none other than the owner of some of the most popular shoes of all time, Jimmy Choo, the luxury fashion brand that recently collaborated with popular street artist Eric Haze to design the NFT collection.
The collection will launch on October 20 at the Binance NFT Marketplace with a one-of-a-kind NFT up for auction and a mystery box of 8,888. The artworks represent art, fashion and street culture with Haze’s signature style. The one-of-a-kind NFT that will be up for auction is an exclusively designed trainer that will only be offered as an NFT. However, along with the NFT, the winning bidder will also receive a limited edition pair of hand-painted sneakers. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Jimmy Choo Foundation to support international women’s organizations that help women survivors of war rebuild their lives.
The Mystery Box will be divided into four tiers according to scarcity; a single Jimmy Choo / Eric Haze LOVE 100 Glitter, 445 Ultra Rare cards, 3,109 Rare cards, and 5,333 Unisex cards. As the name implies, the box contains a randomly assigned NFT (one of four heel designs) and buyers purchase it without knowing what’s inside. Each Mystery Box NFT will cost $30.
Other luxury brands joining the NFT space this year include Dolce & Gabbana, DKNY, Luois Vitton, Gucci, and Burberry.
