• Mekaverse’s upcoming NFT is finally here

  • Born in Japan in the mid-60s, they found their footing in the 80s and now could arrive on the blockchain any day now. This is the story of the Japanese phenomenon, Meka (Mecha), and their imminent arrival may be the most anticipated drop to date.

What we have is the Mekaverse, a collection of 8,888 exquisite 3D collectibles with varying rarities and custom color pallets. Each unit is a one-to-one digital asset generated by a program, and depending on the ratio of followers to total supply, the items in this collection will become a legend.

The project is the brainchild of artistic duo Mattey and Matt_B, two creators who have been on the scene for some time. The future of the project is a mystery, and the team are keen not to rush anything. What we do know, however, is that they are working with a toy company to produce a physical version of the asset, with a set of real-life wearables in the pipeline.

To ensure fair distribution, the raffle will set the tone for the event. So head to the Mekaverse on October 6 at 11 p.m. CET. little will be given away until then. More information about the project will undoubtedly arrive after the drop. And, with followers numbering in the hundreds of thousands, expect more efforts to tap into this huge fan base.
