The 10,000 masks based on remix culture will drop on December 2, 2021 and are a core component of the upcoming MIXMOB game, created by veterans from FIFA, PokerStars, Halo, Nintendo and more.
MIXMOB, the play-to-earn game powered by Solana, will begin releasing their highly-designed 10,000 masks for sale on December 2, 2021.
The masks are a mutable NFT that evolve as players journey through the MIXMOB game universe. The masks were designed by MIXMOB’s Art Director Juan Arenas and Mr. Kone. Both have worked with companies such as Nike, NBA, Xbox, Disney, Adidas and more.
MIXMOB is set in a universe where a mysterious AI has erased the world’s culture and locked their precious NFTs in an impenetrable vault, using an army of robots and a mysterious energy field to enslave humans and erase their memories. The players are part of a creative resistance group that has escaped from the underground to the sub-domains. Their mission: to regroup, fight back, and reshape the culture.
To play MIXMOB, you need a mask, which is a player’s unique identity in the game. Anonymous, yet accountable. Masks are generated from about 200+ individual components, including 2D, 3D, sketches, stickers, candy, pop culture, art, music, and science. The main features of the masks are.
8 mask components – ears, eyes, nose, mouth, accessories, face, body and background. 5 animal factions – pig, cat, dog, cow, ape. 4 rarity categories – mix and match, random matter, gold and a surprise category. Become a member of MIXMOB DAO. Early access to the game before it launches. Exclusive airdrops and rewards. In-game status from the start.
MIXMOB is a meta-universe divided into two phases. The first phase is a card strategy battle game where players compete, trade, and remix to earn NFTs and other rewards. The second stage is an MMO battle game where your mask and avatar enter a 3D world.
Simon Vieira, CEO of MIXMOB and producer of the game, said.
“MIXMOB is Axie meets Fortnite. it’s all about showing off incarnation fame. Players can create their own NFT content by adding their designs to their avatars and entering the marketplace for other players to buy. It’s an ongoing state of remix culture.”
MIXMOB is being developed by an all-star team of game developers. This team has worked on projects such as FIFA, Halo, Battlefield, PokerStars, Nintendo, Xbox, and more. It is backed by well-known cryptocurrency investors including; Solana, DeFiance Capital, Merit Circle, Oliver Blakey, Darren and Darryl Lau, among others.
