    OneUnited Bank and Josephine Baker.

OneUnited Bank has been quite vocal about the rights of blacks and their allies. In addition, the bank has launched the Black Banking Campaign to help the black community with a proper influx of deposits.

In addition, Josephine Baker herself was a civil rights activist and started #BlackGirlMagic. in addition, she was the first black woman to become a world-renowned entertainer. Her various jobs include serving as a spy and wartime hero. In addition to this, she was the only female speaker at the March on Washington, standing next to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Then, too, the location of this event was a special place. Since 1951, Josephine has refused to perform for segregated audiences in Miami. And her insistence on mixed audiences has led to integrated live entertainment shows in Miami, Las Vegas and other cities across the United States.
