  • US-based music act, The Crystal Method is set to drop their first NFT, in the form of a music video. It’s the first one to drop in this form by a major label. It will be the act’s new single titled ‘Watch Me Now’ and it is set to auction on MakersPlace.

The original video was released last week on April 15th, for the song Watch Me Now. It is a unique watch. Further, it combines 2D, 3D, black and white, and coloured footage in an animation format to depict the song which was written about Nevada, the group’s home state.

The act’s member, Scott Kirkland spoke on the project where he said: “My first NFT release is a collaboration with the brilliant animated artist Micah Monkey and will be dropping on April 26th. Micah has created an epic and exhilarating visual companion for my rousing riff-driven new single, “Watch Me Now” feat Koda & VAAAL. As the lyrics state, ‘This Ain’t No Joke!’”
