• VeChain Partners with DHL for Enterprise NFT Distribution

  • VeChain, the popular enterprise-friendly blockchain project, has announced a new partnership agreement with DHL, the world’s largest logistics company, to issue non-forgeable tokens (NFTs) on the VeChainThor blockchain.

The latest report brings blockchain technology to the logistics sector in a unique style, as the partnership with DHL China will give customers the freedom to customize DHL’s mascot and then mint it as NFTs on the VeChainThor blockchain solution.

The DHL mascot is presented in the form of an animated cartoon image, a strategy to capture the attention and curiosity of customers.

Interestingly, while some speculators may not see the juice behind the NFT announcement, the partnership is likely to throw VeChain’s NFT ecosystem into the spotlight if the digital art goes viral, especially since Vechain is cheaper on gas compared to ethereum.

    VeChain’s partnership

As a blockchain service provider, VeChain perseveres in bringing blockchain solutions to enterprise-level businesses.

Recall that in October 2018, DHL’s Asia Pacific Innovation Centre (APIC) in Singapore announced the addition of VeChain to its list of partners. Since then, the blockchain solutions startup has been working more with the logistics company.

VeChain has joined forces with Ubique Tag, a global leader in providing specialized RFID products and solutions with the goal of tracking the fight against large-scale counterfeiting of alcohol and wine products.

    Blockchain in the industry

Since the inception of blockchain technology, different industries have adopted the technology as a recording solution.

For example, India has reportedly adopted blockchain technology in the tea industry as a tool to maintain and ensure the traceability of tea in the country.
