• Zilliqa: ScarPunk NFT Auction on Sparda Wallet

  • Today, the auction for ScarPunk NFT begins on Sparda Wallet, a marketplace and service provider for uncounterfeitable tokens created on Zilliqa’s blockchain.

ScarPunk joins a number of auctions already currently running on Sparda Wallet, and to support some NFT artists, Sparda Wallet has also issued its own native ZRC-based standard token, the SPW token.

Sparda Wallet supports all artists who want to create their NFTs on the Zilliqa blockchain.

Sparda Wallet for NFT on the Zilliqa blockchain

The goal of the Sparda wallet is to support all artists who wish to create their NFTs on the Zilliqa blockchain.

To do so, the platform connects with ZilPay and adds NFTs via smart contracts.

Also, on the app, all NFTs are automatically cataloged by title, image/gif, description and displayed as NFTs in the gallery. According to the site, the improvements currently being made to the Sparda wallet are.

“We also have a lot of plans to improve our app, such as

    Likes” and leaderboards.

Ability to support verified artist’s NFTs by “liking” said NFT with $SPW tokens”.

All Zilliqa-based NFTs using the ZRC standard will be able to be displayed in the Sparda wallet.

SPW: Token to inspire ZIL NFT artists

As expected, Sparda Wallet has issued its own token on the Zilliqa blockchain, the SPW token, specifically to incentivize NFT artists on the platform.

Each time a user proceeds to put a “like” on their favorite NFT, they will use the SPW token. The platform proceeds to return a portion of the proceeds to the original, verified artist.

In this regard, here’s what Sparda Wallet had to say.

“We hope this will inspire users to share their cool NFTs and try to accumulate likes to drive their NFT value while supporting artists.”

Zilliqa: Continuing to advance the ZIL NFT ecosystem

Sparda Wallet is a dedicated platform for ZIL NFTs, but it’s not the only one. Over the past year, Zilliqa’s blockchain has been used to launch NFTs.

For example, in July 2020, Mintable had launched a marketplace for new products based on Ether and Zilliqa.

The number and quality of ZIL NFTs continues to grow as well. In addition to the ScarPunk collection, which is being auctioned from today, another interesting project from last May 2021 is a collection of 10 NFT world star footballers, which has been successful thanks to a partnership between Zilliqa and Polaris.

Polaris is the company that manages the rights of some of the world’s most important football players (such as Cristiano Ronaldo) and has officially launched 10 NFTs on the Zilliqa blockchain.
