Bazooka Chicks is a digital collectible metaspace that showcases a world in 2041 where all humans are dead. The team behind this quirky product has chosen Flare’s Songbird (SGB) as the technology platform for its NFT mint.
Digital Collectibles Mint launches on Songbird
According to an official announcement shared by early NFT product Bazooka Chicks, its inaugural digital collectible drop has entered the public minting phase on Songbird.
The initial mint price was set at 25 Songbird tokens (SGB).Songbird (SGB) tokens were distributed among participants in the Flare airdrop in early September.
Unlike the test network, Songbird tokens allow users to stress test all possible economic designs for Flare (FLR) in real-world conditions. This is why the SGB tokens are not airdropped via Infinite Faucet.
Additionally, participants of the Bazooka Chicks public mint are eligible for distribution of Songbird Punks, a Songbird-based product inspired by Ether’s iconic NFT metaverse, CryptoPunks.
Flare solidifies itself as a new ecosystem for DeFi and NFT products
Developed by NFT pioneer LarvaLabs, CryptoPunks are the most expensive unforgeable tokens in the entire segment. Some Punks (such as CryptoPunk 3100 and CryptoPunk 7804) are valued at over $7.5 million.
Previously, Flare-based projects have made headlines with their NFT-centric initiatives. That said, as U.Today reported, Flare Finance sold 7,777 NFTs in September.
Flare Finance’s collection is dedicated to the iconic sports car DeLorean. In addition, the deal also saw the release of a number of Samurai-themed NFT drops.
